On 17 September 2025, during the TV programme Le Monument prĂ©fĂ©rĂ© des Français presented by StĂ©phane Bern, Chantilly Castle was officially elected the French peopleâs favourite monument. A true recognition for this jewel of French heritage, right in the heart of the Oise region.

đ A national recognition
Facing 13 other iconic monuments, Chantilly Castle came out on top. The Cordouan Lighthouse took second place, followed by the Ramparts of Guérande.
For Anne Miller, general administrator of the castle, this distinction is âa deep source of joyâ, especially after the recent success of the exhibition Les TrĂšs Riches Heures du Duc de Berry.
