On 17 September 2025, during the TV programme Le Monument préféré des Français presented by Stéphane Bern, Chantilly Castle was officially elected the French people’s favourite monument. A true recognition for this jewel of French heritage, right in the heart of the Oise region.

🌟 A national recognition
Facing 13 other iconic monuments, Chantilly Castle came out on top. The Cordouan Lighthouse took second place, followed by the Ramparts of Guérande.
For Anne Miller, general administrator of the castle, this distinction is “a deep source of joy”, especially after the recent success of the exhibition Les Très Riches Heures du Duc de Berry.
